Thin styrofoam sheet, glue gun and “FRocks”
Time to think ahead and make a lightweight standalone backdrop, using my stockpile of “FRocks”
Glue gun was too slow, so I went back to using liquid nails
“Frocks” are “ripped” into shape
Slowly, the project taking shape, with some vertical scenery
July 3rd 2007
Decided to use Texture paint to cover the “FRocks” for this project. It should give me that “crusty” rock look.
The texture paint is water based and can be used indoor’s, for a bit of “desktop” scenery work.
July 4th 2007
”FRocks” placed under ducting heating vents to dry. Takes about an hour.
Then I do some laundry and hang the clothes to dry. That’s multi-tasking for you.
”FRocks” complete and painted using cheap acrylic paints.
Time to add very fine , various coloured dirts, scenery material and trees.
The fun part begins
