One cannot, ever have enough detail photos when building a model. I became frustrated at times, with the lack of detail and instructions that came with rolling stock kits ( PBL & Foothill Models, the exception  ).

Hope these photos help with that next project you may have been thinking of starting.

This was June 2006

In a few days, another piece of history will disappear.

I was down at Pagosa Junction the Friday afternoon before the tank collapsed.
It was leaning so much that, sadly, it was clear it would not last much longer.

I remember the Saturday well. We were working on 315 in Santa Rita park and the tent was flapping violently. When I visited the tank the following Monday, I met a guy working for the Ute tribe and he told me that he had passed the tank on the previous Friday and it was still standing.

My guess is that the strong winds finally toppled the old lady on that Saturday.
