Camp 18
When asked about Camp 18, half the people describe it as a restaurant with a great display of logging equipment, and the other half describe it a very good logging museum with great food. Either view is equally correct. Camp 18 is a logging themed restaurant in Seaside Oregon, about 60 miles south of Portland on the road to Cannon Beach. The food is very excellent, but the main attraction is the large collection of logging equipment on the restaurant groups. The large collection includes a variety of steam donkeys, tractors, railroad equipment, old camp buildings, sawmill mill gear, and a spar tree. It frequently hosts conventions for Wes Coast Logging modelers.
It is well worth the drive.
